에드워드 호퍼의 판화작품 'evening wind'를 패러디 한 작품이다.
알 수 없는 본능적 힘으로 나는 바다를 그리워 한다.
강원도 삼척의 바다를 보고 자란 탓이었을까.
모든 겉치레와 가식을 벗고 불어오는 바람결에 바라본 곳은 바다이다.
내가 향해야 할 곳은 존재의 바다라고 느낀다.

This piece is a parody of Edward Hopper’s print Evening Wind.For reasons I cannot fully understand,I find myself yearning for the sea.Perhaps it is because I was raised by the sea of Samcheok, Gangwon Province.Stripped of all pretense and artifice,I gaze upon the sea carried by the wind that blows through me.I feel that the place I must journey tois the sea of Being itself.
